Hardyston liquor store opens in new location

HARDYSTON — Sussex County Discount Wine & Liquor welcomed local elected officials, vendors and the public to celebrate the grand opening of a new, more customer friendly Wine & Good Spirits store in Hardyston on Sept. 5.

It was opened by the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce President Tammie Horsfield and Maryiann Smith, Hardyston township manager.

“We are thrilled to cut the ribbon to a store that we believe provides consumers a world-class shopping experience," said Horsfield said.

With 6,500 square feet, Sussex County Discount Wine & Liquor is the largest single-owned spirits store in Sussex County housing international and local wines, including organic wines.

During the grand opening celebration, consumers were able to enjoy wine and spirits tastings and served refreshments with freebies. Sussex County Discount Wine & Liquor is located on Route 94 and is open from 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and from 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
