Mountain Creek hosts Spartan Races

The Spartan Races were held at Mountain Creek last weekends.

According to an official staff member, some 7,000 turned out for the two-day races.

The course traveled up and down the slopes of Mountain Creek South last weekend. The course included steep uphill runs, a log hop, spear throw, rolling mud with barbed wire, wall climbs, and much more to test the athletes.

For the many spectators who paid to enjoy the races from the lodge at the base they got to see first-hand the rope climb, traverse walls, barbed wire crawl, slip wall, and final fire jump just before the finish line.
