    Aug. 23
    Ivan Llovet, 30, of Staten island, N.Y., was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and speeding after police saw him cross over the double-yellow line on Vernon Crossing Road.

    Police said the officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle. After an investigation, police said he failed field sobriety tests.

    He was released pending an appearance in Vernon Township Municipal Court.

    Aug. 29
    Sean Flood, 26, of Pennsylvania was charged on a warrant after a motor vehicle stop on County Highway 565.

    Police said a computer check revealed he had an outstanding warrant from Pennsylvania.

    Flood was sent to the Sussex County Jaikl pending extradition to Pennsylvania.

    Aug. 30
    Jason Concoy, 31, of Glenwood was charged with speeding and driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Maple Grange Road.

    Police said Concoy was stopped after he was seen speeding on Route 94. Police said a subsequent investigation involving field sobriety tests.

    He was released pending an appearance in Vernon Township Municipal Court.

    Aug. 31
    Kimberly Lyons, 26, of Vernon was charged with driving while intoxicated after she was stopped in the area of McPeak Road and County Highway 517.

    Police said several drivers drove around the blue Nissan she was driving and conducted a stop on Lake Pochung Road.

    She was released pending a court appearance in Vernon Municipal Court.
