YMCA adds more hours, programs

    The Sussex County YMCA is expanding operating hours and adding additional class times and programs beginning Sept. 2.

    In addition, the YMCA is offering lower membership rates and no joiner fees for new Adult, Senior and Family members who join in September.

    The YMCA will be open Monday-Friday 5 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., and Saturday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

    Beginning in September, the Y will offer expanded hours and more more class times and programs. Additional programs and class times include Piyo, Yoga, Better Balance, Boot Camp, Advanced Chair Yoga, Weight Loss Challenge and more.

    The Y offers free programs that benefit the local community and help children to be safe, including free nutrition lectures, swim lesson programs throughout the year and a free membership for all seventh graders. The Y has programs including preschool, before and after school care, and day camp as well as, swim lessons, sports classes, leagues, and adult activities.

    The Sussex County YMCA is inviting the community to “Play More, Pay Less” this September. New YMCA members can take advantage of a reduced membership rate through Dec. 31 and also pay no joiner fee. A YMCA facility membership includes a free wellness coaching program, free child watch and youth room, free group exercise classes and use of most YMCAs in N.J.
