Auxiliary presents check to Komen North Jersey

Members of the Sussex American Legion Auxiliary Unit 213, organizers of the inaugural “Step for the Cure” breast cancer walked at Woodbourne Veteran’s Memorial Park in Wantage on July 26 presented Susan G. Komen North Jersey with an initial check of $2,000 for the fight against breast cancer.

To date, the event has raised more than $3,000 for the Komen North Jersey Affiliate, which provides services in nine north Jersey counties including Sussex.
