Konrad Paul Dziekanski

Konrad Paul Dziekanski, 69 years old, died after a short illness at Newton Medical Center on Thursday, August 14, 2014. Born to Jan and Janina Dziekanski in Poland, he had lived in New York City before moving to the McAfee section of Vernon Twp., NJ in July of 2013.

Konrad had worked as a physicist for Arista Products in Long Island, N.Y., for many years. He also took great joy in playing Bridge.

Konrad was the devoted father of Jan Piotr and Piotr Dziekanski both of Warsaw, Poland, and David and Perry Dziekanski both of New York City, dear brother of Margaret and her husband, Edward, of McAfee, N.J., and Anna Brejnakowska of Warsaw, Poland, and cherished by 6 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis deSales RC Church, Vernon Twp., NJ. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon Twp., NJ. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers to a favorite charity in Konrad’s name would be appreciated.
