Jean E. Wilde

Jean E. Wilde, age 84, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Newton Medical Center. Born in Middletown, Ohio, Mrs. Wilde had lived in Oakland before moving to Wantage 33 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Wilde, in 2005 and her grandson, Timothy Halliday, in 2009. Mrs. Wilde is survived by her son, Robert H. Wilde, Jr., of Murrieta, Calif.; her three daughters, Cynthia M. Walters of Redding, Conn., Deborah J. Grinwis of Wantage, and Theresa A. Halliday of Hawley, Pa.; her sister, Janet Chase of Middletown, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Private funeral services were entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Wantage First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 721, Wantage, NJ 07461.
