Vernon DPW building to receive new roof

VERNON — Vernon Township awarded a contract Monday to replace to the roof on the Department of Public Works building in the Municipal Complex.
The township awarded the project to Zitone Construction and Supply Company, Inc. of Montague for $260,000.
The township solicited bids for the project on May 8 and an extension was given to allow for additional time beyond the standard 60 dsys for bids to come in. All bids were reviewed by Township Engineer Cory Stoner.
