Minerals Sports Club to host Service Member Appreciation Day

HAMBURG — As a way of honoring and thanking members of the military, police, fire and EMT squads for their continued commitment to the nation and local communities, Minerals Sports Club at Crystal Springs Resort is hosting a Service Member Appreciation Day on Aug. 19.

From 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Minerals Sports Club welcomes all paid and volunteer military, police, fire and EMT members with valid service I.D. and their immediate families to enjoy complimentary access to aerobic and fitness classes, all of the fitness center’s state-of-the-art equipment, basketball and racquetball courts, an indoor running track, indoor and outdoor pools, a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

Guests and their families will also receive 20 percent off all food and beverage at the on-site dining options, Kites Restaurant and the outdoor Tiki Bar.

Special activities for children including pool games, Kids Hip Hop and Tumble Classes, face painting, Oliver the Goose and Bettina the Balloon Twister will keep young ones entertained all day long.

Along with the day’s festivities, Minerals Sports Club will offer a special discount to service members. Attending members can sign up for a Platinum membership for just $550 while family members can take advantage of a discounted rate of $625.
