Fundraiser to support veteran students at SCCC

NEWTON — Rockin' Fest is planned for Sussex County Community College on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the college.

The eent will feature seven bands. Some classic rock, a little blues and country, original and pop will round out the selection. Visit with veteran services, which will be there to help and provide information and assistance. Parking can be paid in advance at www.scccrockinfest.eventbrite.com. You can also make a donation on the same site just in case you can't attend.

Parking is $10 per car, $5 per student. Motorcycle admission is free.

The proceeds of this Rockin Fest will go into a fund that will help veteran students in need of some financial support as well as educational support by providing tutoring as needed.
