    Johanna Crockford, 28, of Vernon was charged with third-degree theft.

    Police said she was an employee of Minerals Resort and fraudulently reimbursed 15 credit cards belonging to herself and her boyfriend for more than $27,000.

    She was released on her own recognizance pending an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.

    Scott Verhage Jr., 24, of Highland Lakes was charged with three counts of burglary, five counts of theft and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Police said an investigation beginning in December 2013 revealed Verhage had forcefully entered several unoccupied homes and businesses, including the Highland Lakes County Club, to take tools, sports equipment, audio/visual equipoment and credit cards. Police said the value of stolen items was more than $10,000. Police said some stolen items were recovered from the Verhage residence and returned to their respective owners.

    Through subpeonaed credit card information, police said they also determined Verhage was fraudulently usin a credit card, which had been removed from a Vernon resident's unoccupied vehicle.

    Police said Verhage was in possession of Morphine and Oxycodone without a valid prescription by a licensed practitioner.

    Verhage was sent to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
