Flames engulf local barn

Dalrymple Barn on Wykertown Road near Haggerty and Meyer Road in Frankford, N.J.
FRANKFORD — A barn fire was reported around 6 p.m. Thursday evening on Wykertown Road in Frankford, after being struck by lightening.
The flames engulfed the barn and flammable materials inside burning it to the ground as the black smoke rose into the sky in the rain storm.
Several fire departments responded to the fire including Beemerville, Wantage, Frankford, Hampton and a few others. The Dalrymple barn was hit by lightening a few years ago with minor damage, burning stored hay.
