Vernon 10U softball team wins regional berth

VERNON — The Vernon 10U girls Gold softball team finished second in the Babe Ruth state playoffs and earned an invitation to regionals.
It will be Vernon's first trip to regionals.
Opening day ceremony will be on July 16 at TD Bank Stadium.
