Don 'Jigger' Youmans

    Don “Jigger” Youmans, age 72, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Newton Medical Center. Born in Sussex to the late Donald B. and Elizabeth F. (Garris) Youmans, he had lived in the Sussex area for most of his life. He had worked at Ames Rubber and had retired at age 55. Don was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 213 in Wantage and was also a former member of the Moose Lodge in Newton. He was predeceased by his father, Donald B. Youmans, in 1982; his mother, Elizabeth F. Youmans in 2010; and his brother, Robert Youmans, in 1984. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Grimer of Genesee, Pa.. Private cremation services and burial at Clove Cemetery have been entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex, NJ.
