Does frequent on/off switching of LED bulbs shorten their life?

Turning LED bulbs on and off does not shorten their life expectancy. Standard lamps such as fluorescent, halogen, incandescent, HID do suffer shorter life with frequent on/off cycling. This is yet another benefit for switching to LEDs.
