Action Park opens for summer seasons

A young girl is cautious about the cool water in the Hightide Wavepool.
Only the bravest attempt taking a leap of faith into the pool at the Canyon Cliffs. The water is 16 feet deep below the 23-foot high cliff.
Brave young men and women lined up for the thrills associated with the Tarzan Swings attraction.
Helmets are required and supplied for riders on Rogue River ride.

VERNON — Mountain Creek Water Park opened last weekend with the renaming of the summer attraction to the moniker of the long past Action Park.
Starting this weekend the park will be open seven days each week throughout the summer months and into September.
