Wantage to bond for road improvements

WANTAGE — The Wantage Township Committee introduced a bond ordinance on Thursday, June 12, for about $109,000 to improve Volcanic Hill Road.

The public hearing and second vote on the ordinance are scheduled for Thursday, July 17.

The committee took over the road's maintenance on Volcanic Hill Road. Residents will be billed a special assessment to fix the road.
