Vernon Day held at Maple Grange Park

    A popular attraction at the festival was Edward Miller of Hamburg, who released hundreds of bubbles simultaneously with his Easy Bubble bubble wands. Anyone who wanted to could try his or her hand at it.

VERNON — The annual Vernon Day festival held at Maple Grange Park was once again well attended and was once again blessed with fine weather.

Mayor Victor Marotta and a few councilmen made the rounds at the festival but the mayor was reluctant to volunteer for the Vernon Little League dunk tank this year.
