Church to celebrate religious event

VERNON — There will be a procession with the Fatima statue to celebrate the Virgin Mary's apparition to three children in Portugal on June 13, 1917.
The event will take place on Friday, June 13, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Church, located on Breakneck Road in Highland Lakes.
In addition to the procession, the church will expose the Blessed Sacrament, pray the rosary in a variety of languages, and give Benediction. Organ music and traditional hymns will accompany this activity.
