    Robert Baker, 34, of Highland Lakes was charged after a $500 warrant was issued for his arrest after police said he failed to appear in Vernon Municipal Court.

    Police said Baker also found to have an additional $500 bench warrant out of Morris Township for failing to appear in court there.

    He posted the full bail in cash and was released pending new court dates in both municipalities.

    Alexander Nicosia, 30, of Lafayette was charged possessing a controlled dangerous substance after a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Legends Hotel.

    Police said the officer approached the driver's side window and immediately smelled a strong odor of burnt and raw marijuana. Police said Nicosia admitted to possession a small bag of marijuana anda glass marijuana smoking pipe.

    He was charged, processed and released pending a May 13 appearance in Vernon Township Municipal Court.
