Meet the author event planned at sewing shop

VERNON — Author James Schmitt will host a meet the author event at the Perfect Timing Sewing Machine Co., located at 99 Route 94 in Vernon on Saturday, May 10, from noon until 3 p.m.

He also will be signing copies of his book, "Knowing Where You're Going: New York City — The Ultimate Guide to Manhattan."
