Vernon Rotary to present golf outing

    The Vernon Rotary Club will take place Friday, May 9 at Wild Turkey Golf Course in Hamburg.

    Attendee will have the opportunity to meet and play golf with former N.Y. Giants player Bill Neill and his son, Ryan Neill, who played with the Buffalo Bills.

    The proceeds will make many of the philanthropic programs sponsored by the rotary a reality. Phillips was a charter member of the Rotary, who had a positive affect on the community.

    Vernon Rotary awards many scholarships to Vernon High School seniors and has sponsored numerous private fundraisers for families in need.

    The cost is $200 per golfer or $800 per foursome. Registration is at 11 a.m. and there will be shotgun start at 1 p.m., and includes lunch, beer, and dinner.

    There will be door prizes, prizes for scoring, raffle prizes, and a silent auction.
