“Vernon Through the Years,” a photography exhibit, sponsored by the Vernon Township Historical Society and the Vernon Township High School Photography Department, will be held at the Vernon Senior Citizens Center at 21 Church Street on April 12-13.

The exhibit is free and open to the public and features the beautiful professional and amateur photography of Vernon adults and students, including submissions from the community’s own Vernon Camera Club.

The hours of the exhibit on April 12 are from 5 to 9 p.m. On April 13, hours are from 1 to 5 p.m. There will be a reception on Sunday, April 13, from 4-5 p.m., featuring an ensemble of stringed instruments by Vernon Township High School students and their teacher and orchestra director, Jennifer Krott.

A number of photographs also will be sold at a silent auction to raise funds for the many educational programs the Society does in the community. For information about the event, contact the Society at 973-764-6545.
