Fathers from the Clifton E. Lawrence School enjoyed learning some new dance moves from their young daughters at a Father-Daughter Dance sponsored by the Family Success Center at Project Self-Sufficiency.

The girls, who are enrolled in kindergarten through third grade, enjoyed dancing, refreshments, crafts and ice cream sundaes. Each family received a commemorative photo of the evening. Music for the events were provided by professional disc jockey Brandon Quinn.

The Father-Daughter Dances were coordinated by the Parent Advisory Board of the Sussex County Family Success Center, which is located at Project Self-Sufficiency in Newton; services are offered in Newton and at locations in Hopatcong and Sussex-Wantage.

“Giving families the opportunity to spend time together is an important component of the programs offered by the Family Success Center,” said Deborah Berry-Toon, executive director of Project Self-Sufficiency. “We are grateful for the input provided by the members of the Parent Advisory Board and for the assistance we received from the Sussex-Wantage school district in putting this event together. We are looking forward to sponsoring it again next year.”
