WANTAGE — The Wantage Township First Aid Squad held its second annual Fish N' Chips dinner, prepared by Tastefully British, on March 28 at the Colesville Firehouse.
The event was put together by year-and-a-half volunteer Regina Cintron and five-year volunteer Chris Little. Wantage Mayor William DeBoer is the squad engineer and has been volunteering with the squad for 23 years.
The event was held to raise funds for equipment (power stretchers, for example, which cost about $10K.)
Estimates indicate the event raised about $1,500, according to DeBoer.
