Avian Refuge launches shoe drive

WANTAGE — The Under My Wing Avian Refuge will host a shoe collection drive through June 15 to raise money for operational cost of the refuge while benefitting enterprises in developing nations and keeping old shoes out of landfills.
People can donate gently worn, used shoes to 1243 Route 23 North, Wantage NJ 07461.
All donated shoes will be redistributed to microenterprise partners through Funds2Orgs and used in developing nations for impoverished people to start, maintain, and grow a unique business opportunity to feed, clothe, and house their families.
