Vernon Valley Karate hosts youth clinic

HAMBURG — Sensei Tom Shull and instructors Barret Myzak, Brie Valentino, Monica Rolando and Sacha Dorsey from the Vernon Valley Karate Academy presented a program at the Hamburg Elementary School on March 10 for the Hamburg Recreation Clinic on Karate and Self-defense.

Participating in the class were children from the Hamburg School Kindergarten through fifth grade classes.

“I was very pleased with the positive attitudes and polite behavior exhibited by the children who took part,” Shull said.

Shull also commented on the good work of Chris Fitzpatrick who organizes these after school recreation programs for the children.
