On May 20, Cedar Mountain Primary School hosted its annual “Fourth Grade Family Art Night”.

Parents, grandparents and siblings were invited to come see paintings and sculptures created by their fourth grade artists. They gathered for an evening of seeing and making art, too.

In the theme of creating “Paper Sculpture," the fourth graders showed their families lessons learned in art class. Specifically, they shared how to make two dimensional (flat) paper become three dimensional (height) as tissue flowers and origami puppets.

The art program is under the direction of Joanne Portner, Art Teacher and Dennis Mudrick, Principal.
