Five accomplished young pianists from Vernon, N.J. and Warwick, N.Y. performed for the fourth year in a 15 minutes Mini Solo Recital on Saturday, May 18 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Warwick, N.Y.

The teenagers' ultimate goal is to play an hour recital in preparation for a CD recording while applying to college for a Major or Minor in music. Margaret Korczynski, the piano teacher, encouraged her students to donate the proceeds from their solo recital to the Special Education Department of their school, or to some other organization that can help children enrich their musical training.

Each of the students performed four intermediate to advanced piano pieces from four different periods of music (Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary).

Their program was also memorized in preparation for the upcomming National Guild of Musicians evaluation in Sparta N.J.
