Sussex Bank more than doubled donations at golf outing

FRANKLIN — Sussex Bank held a golf outing, May 13, to benefit the SB Foundation, Inc. where participants and sponsors helped to more than double what SB Foundation historically raises for nonprofit organizations and local scholarships.
The SB Foundation, Inc. is a §501(c)(3) organization, gifts to which are deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.
“We want to thank the hard working golf committee for all their help in organizing such an amazing day. We also want to thank all the volunteers that helped out with registration and at the prize holes. Due to everyone’s participation and kind donations, we made this outing an overwhelming success,” said Anthony Labozzetta, President & CEO of Sussex Bank. “We look forward to our next golf outing in 2014, where we hope to surpass the results of this year’s event."
Held at Crystal Springs Golf Course, Sussex Bank hosted 178 golfers in their outing and were joined by New York Giants Alumni; Brian Lee Kelly, Christian Peter, Gary Michael Jeter, Roman Dissake Oben, Scott Davis, Billy Taylor and Brian Saxton.
During dinner, participants got the chance to place their bids on donated silent auction items which included; a New York Giants autographed football, patio lantern heater, Yankee tickets, a Martha's Vineyard Getaway, tickets to brunch at Perona Farms, golf 4-somes at various county clubs and a basket of cheer. Everyone also had the chance to enjoy complimentary cigars from Stix Cigars in Wantage and a variety of cognac and scotch that were donated by Wine Legend in Livingston.
