WANTAGE — The entire Clifton E. Lawrence School blew bubbles for Autism Awareness on Friday, April 26. The school donated a portion of the cost for a new bubble table by the Shop Rite of Montague.
Throughout the month of April, the students at the Lawrence School read books about Autism in their library classes and participate in sensory activities in their gym classes to learn about Autism and tolerance and understanding for students with special needs.
Both the staff, families, and children purchased Autism bracelets and t-shirts to raise money for the Sussex Wantage Team to donate at the Walk Now for Autism Northern NJ to Autism Speaks on May 19 at Bergen County Community College.
