    April 22
    Robert Woodruff, 23, of Highland Lakes, was sentenced to four years New Jersey State Prison and given credit for 227 days served in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility. The defendant must also submit a DNA sample at his own expense, pay restitution to the victims and pay various fines and penalties. Woodruff admitted that between July 5 and July 7, 2012, he entered several residences and stole jewelry, money and personal items.

    Jared P. Jester, 28, of Glenwood, pled guilty to possession of heroin, a crime of the third degree. Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 21, 2013. In pleading guilty, Jester admitted to being in possession of Heroin after his vehicle was searched during a motor vehicle stop in Vernon on Nov. 20, 2012.

    April 24
    Patrick R. Delaney, 26, of Pompton Plains, was sentenced to five years drug court probation, given credit for 439 days served in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility. He must also supply a DNA sample at his own expense, pay restitution and pay various fines and penalties. Delaney admitted that Oct. 28, 2011 in the Township of Vernon he entered several residences and stole property and money.

    April 26
    Mark Critchlaw, 22, of Branchville, was sentenced to three years probation and loss of his driver’s license for six months. He must also continue drug treatment aftercare, obtain and maintain employment, attend AA/NA meetings and pay $1,205 in fines. He pled guilty on Jan. 28, 2013 to third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. In December of 2012 it was reported to police that Critchlaw was in possession of illegal narcotics. Upon investigation it was found he was in possession of Suboxone, a Schedule III controlled dangerous substance.
