Local bands coming together for a cause

PORT JERVIS — A benefit concert is being held Saturday, May 18 for the Wantage family of Harrison Jacob Shauger.

Harrison died on March 26 of this year after losing his battle with heart disease, and in his honor three local bands are coming together to celebrate his personality and help raise money for the Shauger Family medical expenses and the Congenital Heart Disease Coalition.

Broke -N- Dice and Paradyme Void will join Johnny and the Jokers in an evening of music, raffles and prizes. A custom guitar, built by Michael Flores will be one of the prizes, along with other prizes, gift certificates to local stores and more.

The event is taking place at the Greenville Inn, 980 U.S. 6, Port Jervis, N.Y. from 8 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. For more information call 845-856-3878.
